Jameson Capital is pleased to announce that it has been retained by Cat5 Architectural Energy Systems, a Building Integrated Solar/Photovoltaic (BIPV) technology company to arrange capital and working partnerships.
Cat5 Architectural Energy Systems has developed a lightweight, glassless solar panel producing 730 watts of power but weighing just 4.4 kg in frameless form, and 7.4 kg framed, which can be made in different colors and pattens, used to power buildings or in mobile applications, can be mounted vertically and horizontally, attached to buildings, RVs, boats, mobile power units. The panels are inexpensive, light weight, easy to install, do not include breakable glass components, and due to the size and weight are ideal for shipping. The modules will be marketed for use in developed countries, and as energy sources in developing countries and disaster areas.
Initially, Cat5 the panels will be manufactured in Puerto Rico and subject to only 4% tax on its profits and no withhold – significantly increasing investor returns. Long-term, the product is also of value in regions with limited electrical grids and disaster situations and easily assembled in developing countries.
